The Chief Clarence L. Cash Jr. Firefighter Foundation is proud to sponsor the Shelby County Fire recruit program. Through this program, outstanding fire recruits may be eligible to receive a monetary award. This award is designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of new firefighters and to provide them with the resources to help them succeed in their career. To be considered for this award, recruits must apply here. The application process is open to all new fire recruits and the award amount will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We hope this award will help to support the brave men and women of the fire service and to make a positive difference in their lives.

The Chief Clarence L. Cash Jr. Firefighter Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the legacy of Chief Cash, a veteran firefighter of the Shelby County Fire Department. The Foundation offers an annual Veteran Firefighter Award to recognize an individual who has served the department for at least four years. The award comes with a monetary prize and is a recognition of the recipient's service and commitment to the department and to the community. The award also serves as a reminder of the selflessness and dedication of Chief Cash and all firefighters who serve and protect our communities.

The Chief Clarence L. Cash Jr. Firefighter Foundation, in partnership with the 911 Board and the Shelby County Fire Department, is proud to offer a monetary award for outstanding 911 Dispatchers. This award recognizes the hard work and dedication of these professionals who are devoted to responding to emergency calls and helping save lives. The award is given out annually to the dispatcher who best exemplifies excellence in the field. The 911 Board, Chief Clarence L. Cash Jr. Firefighter Foundation, and Shelby County Fire Department are proud to recognize these individuals and thank them for their service.
