Here is where he became a member of Omega Psi Phi, (Gamma Gamma Chapter Spring 91). Garmer began his real estate career with Transcontinental Title Company in 1995 after serving in the Memphis City School system as an educator.

In 2002, he joined Orange Law Firm as Operations Manager where he was the leader of a staff that conducted over 140 real estate transactions per month. His experience has been in the areas of probate, estate matters, and real estate title. The strong leadership skills that Mr. Currie possess is what lead him to open his own title company in the name of Omega Title and Escrow Service, LLC. His hard work, passion, and dedication are what made him successful in the business for 27 years. His drive to build an economic legacy in our community brought about the work of assisting new entrepreneurs with creating LLCs, in addition to his regular everyday duties with real estate.

The same passion and drive that he has had in real estate for 27 years, doesn’t compare to the passion or drive that he has for his two beautiful daughters. The high expectations that Garmer sets for himself have carried over to his daughters. One attending Alabama A&M University and the other attending Southern University where they are both excelling as college students at HBCUs. Garmer continues to educate, assist, and build an economic legacy within our community with the same passion, drive, and dedication that he had 27 years ago.

"My passion for The Chief Clarence L Cash Jr Firefighter Scholarship Fund is first being connected to The Cash family for twenty-three years, belonging to the CME church family as Chief Cash was, and my passion to give back to our community."
